Face Reading!!

Introduced to by my friend Rohan and Zane-

Different types of faces by Zane-

Wood face
The wood type face is rectangular in appearanceIt has uniformity of width and is far longer than it is wideThe forehead of this type of face is likewise high and usually possesses well-defined creases In men there is often receding hairline. This face type is associated with warmth and optimism The possessor of the wood face is energetic, with leadership potential, strong ideals and determination He is popular , wins friends easily and is charitable He can demand that things must be done in his way and may express him in arrogant mannerThe wood face is also associated with strong religious or philosophical convictions

The Fire Face
The fire face has a wide jaw and a narrow foreheadIn shape it resembles an upward pointing triangleThe temperament of a person with a fire face is likely to be rather heated and excitable resulting from a unhappy childhood or other factors of distressing background The ambitions are very strong since he has a desire to remove himself as far from his origin as possibleThis desire also provides a key to his lack of patience and outbursts of anger when his plans are thwartedFire faced people tend to be lucky, highly sexed, physically attractive and can be extremely persuasive and charmingFire faced person usually has a string of broken relationships in his past

The Earth Face
This type of face resembles square shape The complexion tends to be ruddy, the hair often bushy and the eyes somewhat red but expressive of authorityThe nose and the mouth also will tend to be wide, lips are quite thin and the teeth smallThe earth face is an indicator of toughness and determination, and are more likely to be utterly stubborn The energy levels are high and there is a tendency to immediately leap to conclusions before the facts are fully knownHis temper is quick and unpredictableThis type of person can impulsively get himself to troubleHe lacks inner strength to extricate himself without considerable helpHe enjoys good health and active social life

The Metal Face
The metal face is opposite of fire face . It is rather oval but can be thought of as an inverted triangleThe facial features are regular and rather refined, however the mouth may either be slightly too large or smallThe fairly large eyes are lively and active denoting intelligence and sharp perceptionsThe possessor of this type of face lives in his head. His mind is extremely active and rarely gives him any peace He loves talking and is not averse to a heated debate as long as he is sure of his groundHe is quite capable of turning the tables on his opponent with clever word play and a dazzling display of witLikes to meet new people but will keep all but a few at a distance because emotional closeness is disturbing to him He is a born politician, a salesman and organizer. Ambitious and can be quite cunning

The Water Face
It is round and is also known as ‘the moon face’The eyes are said to be watery . Person with such face are accused of being lazy but this is not the caseThey tend to lack energy and often become tired and lethargic They have imagination in abundance . They have rich and rare fantasy worldDue to vivid imagination can give rise to unrealistic expectations, disappointments and possibly hypochondriaThey are dependent on others for reassurance and support. They lack in self confidence. If they find themselves alone for any length of time they will tend to prevaricate, putting off decisions for as long as possible

The art of face reading simply puts what we already do intuitively into a more structured, organised format. Every feature on the face from forehead to chin can reveal vital information about personalities and health. A face can speak a thousand words.
Here I will give you ideas on how you can read someone's character from observing his or her forehead, eyes, cheeks or lips.

FOREHEAD
The shape of the person's forehead will provide useful clues as to how he or she thinks. A large, high forehead indicates an intelligent and academically active mind. A short forehead suggests quick sharp decision-making. A forehead that is vertical in profile implies independent thinking making it easier to generate ideas and work alone. A forehead that slopes backwards suggests a more social and interactive disposition. Such a person is excited to express and hear ideas, therefore being a natural team worker.

EYES
The eyes are said to be the window to the soul. Smaller eyes are a sign of a desire for precision, accuracy and attention to detail as well as being perceptive and able to see through waffle. Larger eyes suggest an open, friendly character that is gentle, kind and accessible. Eyes set close together show great powers of concentration and consistency. Eyes set wide apart are associated with being broad minded and interested in a broader, liberal attitude to life.

CHEEKS
Sunken cheeks indicate a serious and responsible attitude to life risking feeling withdrawn if faced with difficulties. Prominent cheeks suggest emotions come up to the surface quickly with a strong desire to express them. Flushed cheeks indicate a state of excitement and a greater desire to speak out. A pale disposition shows a deeper resolve and a drawing in of emotions.

LIPS
As lips are a feature that moves they attract attention. Being a point of sexual contact we associate lips with sensuality. Thin lips reflect a hard working, responsible character who is prone to overworking. Full lips indicate amore relaxed, pleasure orientated nature knowing how to have fun. A smaller mouth would suggests greater ability to be direct and focus the job in hand without becoming distracted. A wide mouth shows a desire to take in a broader range of experiences in life and live a more varied, less structured life.

1. A hook nose is good with money and business. (Stick to business with this person and ask for financial help.)

2. A turned up nose likes to be of service. (Ask them for help, directions, assistance)

3. A large mouth is talkative and generous. (Use small talk, and about their family. They like to be around people.)

4. A small mouth is brief and tight. (Come to the point quickly and don't keep them waiting.)

5. Eyes that are close together are impatient. (Be on time. Trust them to get things done right.)

6. Eyes that are far apart are tolerant. (Expect tardiness & easy going behaviour. Set deadlines & give reminders)

7. Eyebrows that are high are selective and formal. (Mind your manners. Be on your best behaviour. Use courtesies.)

8. Eyebrows that are set low are informal and easy going. (Warn them about protocol. Let them sell. Ask them to host a party.)

Signs of Deception:
Body Language of Lies:
• Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space.
• A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact.
• Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Touching or scratching the nose or behind their ear. Not likely to touch his chest/heart with an open hand.
Emotional Gestures & Contradiction
• Timing and duration of emotional gestures and emotions are off a normal pace. The display of emotion is delayed, stays longer it would naturally, then stops suddenly.
• Timing is off between emotions gestures/expressions and words. Example: Someone says "I love it!" when receiving a gift, and then smile after making that statement, rather then at the same time the statement is made.
• Gestures/expressions don’t match the verbal statement, such as frowning when saying “I love you.”
• Expressions are limited to mouth movements when someone is faking emotions (like happy, surprised, sad, awe, )instead of the whole face. For example; when someone smiles naturally their whole face is involved: jaw/cheek movement, eyes and forehead push down, etc.
Interactions and Reactions
• A guilty person gets defensive. An innocent person will often go on the offensive.
• A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away.
• A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you.

*The dryer has shrunk every last pair of your jeans.
*Your husband is suddenly agreeing with everything you say.

childhood... one of the happiest phases during a person's existence!!

As a child-

1. Would fall asleep anywhere with out any worries and still feel protected!

2. If I ate oranges and swallowed the seeds by mistake, I would not drink water...I was scared that it would grow into plants in my stomach ( thanks to my neighbour Shilesh who scared me shit!)

3. My dad is the tallest and strongest man in the whold wide world (My Daddy Strongest!)

4. When I am all grown up, I can wear high heels, have long painted nails and wear duppattas...and it was a big deal for me! ( now I know its no big deal and doesnt even matter!)

5. When I am all grown up my parents will be babies and will not let them do what all they did not let me doo!!

6. I wanted to marry a cricketer or an actor just for the glamshamm :)

7. When I attained puberty, I cried thinking im not a child anymore :P

8. I would rant and rave that I wanted to wear lipstick when we would go for weddings and parties. ...and refuse to eat or close my mouth, so that it does't wear off!! ( Mom had a tough time convincing me to eat!)

9. I would want to have a little brother....on the condition that he never grows up and remains a baby forever...(yeah, rightand he is still a baby for me!!!!)

10. I always wanted to start an orphan age of my own so that none of the kids could lose out on the most happiest phase during his existence...

We all have become so involved in life and so serious that we often forget to enjoy the little pleasures in life that God has given us. The greed, envy, jealousy, revenge why all that when we can live without it! Why do we always want to get into the Pandora's Box and let the evils out while supressing all the good spirits inside?? Hope there is more love, selflessness, charity and peace and this world would not be less than a heaven.

As the Cow Philosophy goes...................

"As you travel life's highway, dont forget to stop and eat the roses... Coz if you dont you will reach your destination but regret for having lost out on so much in life"

The Namesake

Finally yesterday I gotto watch this movie. Had heard a lot about it and after watching Tabu Mira Nair in a Rendezvorous with Koffee with Karan, wanted to check out myself wath the whole movie was all about.
Reached the theatre 10 mins before the scheduled movie of 4:10. Till about 4:05 we were there in the big queue just to buy the tickets and den spotted a free self ticketing counter and rushed n got the tickets. Now is the turn for popcorn and drink, but as usual a big line there too... the counter lady was too slow, rather you could say she was matkofying!! finally was our turn and then we rushed into the hall only to discover the never ending trailers were on. The there had good no. of audience and I was wrong in my thinking, was expecting more indian audience but it was more of the localites and the average age was 40+.
Finally the movie started sometime past 4:30. It was kind of slow, but in the end I liked it. It was a little touchy (guess that explains the Indian Origin). The movie is based on the Ganguli family moving from Calcutta(kolkata) to New York, they embark upon a lifelong balancing act to meld into a new world without forgetting the old. Though parents Ashoke and Ashima long for the family and culture that enveloped them in India, they take great pride in the opportunities their sacrifices have afforded their children. Paradoxically, their son Gogol is torn between finding his own unique identity without losing his heritage. Even Gogol's name represents the family's journey into the unknown.
Overall a nice movie. No masala, no dance gana, no glamour and larger than life scenes! a simple down to earth movie. I would rate it 4.5/5 and would recomend anyone to watch it i.e if you havent(its definitely not possible to watch this kind of movie twice).
